Philipp Striebe is a photographer and digital artist.
Located in San Francisco, California.
Born in 1976, he discovered early on the wide spectrum of the arts and its techniques, but only one stayed with him to this day – the medium of photography. Since then this fascination with the light–drawn image and its potential has never let him loose. In early 2000 he began to develop his photography more seriously, which has brought him artistically to where he is today.
Recent & noteworthy accomplishments:
June 2010 - currently represented by the RAYKO Gallery in San Franciso, with work on permanent display at the“RAYKO Artist Marketplace
April 2010 – published in the “Creative Quaterly Journal” No.18
March 2010 – chosen as one of 50 nationwide selected photographers to attend the juried Portfolio Review “Our World-2010” – by the “PhotoAlliance” SF
December 2009 – won the “Merit Award / New Talent Photography “ announced by the New York based Art Journal “Creative Quaterly”
October 2009 – his image ‘Pos tPony Express” was selected to represent and promote the ACE program of the San Francisco Art Institute in 2010
2009 - studied the field of photography at SFAI to intensify and refine his self–taught knowledge as a photographer and digital artist
November 2007 - named one of the “Top Ten Emerging Artists” by the Sydney-based artmarketblog.com for the art website Saatchi-Online-Gallery
